EVENT SUPPORT STAFF

Location: Museum of the City of New York 1220 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10029
Dress Code: All black (pants or dress/skirt, dress shirt, sweater/vest optional)

South Bronx United is seeking individuals interested in assisting with the day-of production of South Bronx United’s Annual Benefit, a cocktail event that supports under-served youth through soccer and educational programs. The event will be held on the evening of Thursday, November 7th from 5:00pm -10:30pm at Museum of the City of New York 1220 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10029.
Event support staff assist with event management tasks including coat check, check-in, greeter and a silent auction. Volunteers are expected to be detail-oriented and personable, as they will be representing the organization and interacting with donors and sponsors. While it'd be fantastic if volunteers could assist for the entirety of the event, we'd still love those who could work on the setup or clean upshifts. Those interested in setup only can help from 12 PM - 6 PM. Cleanup is 10:30 PM-11:30 PM.
Experience working at an event or on a production management team is not required, but past experiences in both is helpful. If you have specialized experience or interests being a DJ (with own equipment or computer), Photographer, or Bartender please let us know. Volunteers must be 21 years or older.

South Bronx United is a youth development organization dedicated on serving the South Bronx through education, mentoring, and soccer programs. Our goal is use the sport and the strength of mentoring to help boys and girls, ages 4-19, develop as leaders and scholars.
