The ALS Association Florida Chapter needs volunteer support to organize our storage unit. After having a successful 2017 Walk to Defeat ALS season, it is time to organize all out event materials and store them neatly in our storage unit.

During this 2017 Walk season the Florida Chapter raised funds that impact the sustainability of services and programs that serve people who are living with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) and their families. To learn more, please visit our page: www.alsafl.org

Information:

Volunteers will receive a gift card and a t-shirt at the end of the day.

Date: Monday April 24th

Location: Crosstown Stor-N-More Self Storage LLC, 1505 US-301, Tampa, FL 33619

Time: 9:30AM - 12:00pm (2.5 hours max)

Volunteer need: 5 volunteers

Tasks: take out boxes from event van and organize them neatly in the storage unit, as directed by the Chapter staff member.

Requirements: volunteers should be ok with lifting 30-50lb boxes.

Special notes: 1] volunteers can park in the parking area outside the gate of Crosstown Stor-N-More Self Storage, Chapter staff will be there (in event van) to greet the volunteers and drive into the storage space together. 2] this is outside, it will be hot while we are there working together, volunteers should be ok with this. 3] we will bring water and snacks for volunteers.
