You will have the opportunity to work with our Child Care Food Program! The work will consist of more administrative work. The volunteer will help with mailing, filing, copying documents.

The Child Care Food Program (CCFP) is a federal and state funded program that plays a vital role in helping many low-income children to receive healthy and nutritious meals. We train, advise, and monitor licensed child day care providers in Los Angeles and Orange Counties to ensure that over 5,000 children enjoy nutritious meals and snacks every day.

At KFAM, we have 2 CCFP Program Departments to serve the community.

The Home Department serve home child day care providers who are State Licensed family or group day care homes for 8 to 14 children.

The Center Department serve licensed day care centers who are State licensed preschools, after schools, and other institutions for children in a group setting.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit 6 months to 1 year or longer. CCFP office hours are from 7AM to 5:30PM.
