Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windham County

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for adults interested in mentoring children (ages 6-13) in Windham County, Vermont. A mentor is someone who provides adult guidance through a fun friendship. They are from all walks of life with a sincere interest in children. Through time and commitment this is a wonderful way to make a difference in a child's life!

YOU can be a mentor in one of two programs. We have a Site-Based Plus Program (you meet with your Little primarily at their school during their lunch and recess. but have the option to participate in agency sponsored events off of the school campus) and our Community -Based Program (you meet with your Little after school or on the weekends and do things in the community!). For the Site-Based Plus program, the commitment is 1 hour a week for one school year. The commitment for the Community-Based Program is seeing your Little 2-4 times per month 2-4 hours each time for a minimum of one calendar year.
