Lunar Experiences, a new company with staff in Ireland and U.S., is developing a virtual reality, multi-platform videogame and associated comics based on future lunar settlement. Only 12 people have walked on the Moon and just over 500 have made it to space. In the next few years, space tourism will take off with rides to orbit costing $250,000 and in fifty years Elon Musk promises a million people to live on Mars for the cost of an average American home. We can’t and won’t wait that long - we want everyone to be on the Moon for the cost of lunch, at no risk of life and limb, as soon as next year through our Lunar Destiny VR videogame, social VR moonbase, and later on playing e-sports with objects on the Moon! If you like our vision, come join us. We’re seeking two marketing interns that we intend to move to full-time, paid positions in 2017 to help us with our product launches.

Marketing Interns (multiple)

Remote Work - Location not important

Looking for interns with some marketing experience and strong interest in any or all of the following: (1) Videogames, (2) Space, and (3) Virtual Reality. Preferably you are an avid gamer and familiar with Steam and game forums. Our initial product, Lunar Destiny VR videogame, is a lunar rover racing and cave exploration game set on the Moon some 20 years from now, featuring advanced technologies such as 3-D printing bots, artificial intelligence, advanced propulsion, and more. We expect the game will be attractive to gamers who enjoy racing and space games and want to experience them in virtual reality. We are also seeking to introduce our long-term product idea, laying e-sports by controlling objects on the Moon, to space enthusiasts, as a future offshoot of Lunar Destiny.

We want our interns to plan and execute the following activities (at a minimum):

  • Marketing strategy/planning

  • Social Media promotion

  • Press releases

  • Articles and interviews

  • Steam promotion

  • Crowdfunding

  • Customer Interaction

We intend for our two interns to work as a team complementing each other’s skills and experience as they work with our management team. Ideas and enthusiasm are just as important as any experience; we’re looking for individuals who understand and buy into our vision and want to make a difference.
