We are a nonprofit foundation which adopts out shelter dogs and cats in partnership with local shelters. We adopted out almost 3,000 shelter dogs and cats last year, and we are starting up an initiative with BARC Houston (City of Houston Shelter) to adopt dogs out of this PetSmart location.
We need solo, duo, or small groups of musicians including classical, pop, bluegrass, country, you name it - to become a mainstay of our adoption events every Saturday at this location. We would like to schedule one group/soloist/duo for each Saturday to play in the store, with a donations jar and bin. Given the particular location of this store, right next door to Trader Joe's, we are hoping that a weekly presence by live performers will begin to attract potential adopters and supporters of dog and cat rescue and adoptions.

Mission Statement
We seek to find homes for thousands of dogs (and sometimes cats) from Texas and surrounding states in order to prevent dogs from euthanization for lack of space in animal shelters, as well as dying on the streets and in rural areas.
Description
We are currently focused on fostering and fully vetting homeless dogs and moving them to the northern United States, and away from the pet overpopulation crisis in Texas, where over 96,000 dogs were euthanized in shelters for lack of space last year.
