Want to help East Bay College Fund send low income students to college? We are a community-based, non-profit organization that awards college scholarships and provides mentoring services to Oakland public school students with historically low college attendance rates. As a lead partner in the Oakland Promise, we also offer additional college access services, on-going college counseling, and life skills training.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with special projects ranging from data entry to calling campaigns to large mailings. We are also looking for volunteers who can assist students in our partnered High Schools with applying to college, completing FAFSA applications, and writing personal statements.
