LYNCS( Libraries in your Neighboods, Communities, and Schools) through Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is looking for a volunteer to help out with iPad Outreach at a senior center in Allentown (631 E. Warrington Avenue - 15210) . Volunteer will be needed on Fridays from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m .
A Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Librarian will lead an iPad class for about 10 participants at the senior center. Volunteer will assist any seniors having trouble with their device.
Previous lesson topics include: how to select and open apps, how to search on google maps, exploring Youtube, how to take a picture. This is a very basic and fun focused tech class. Volunteer does not need any formal technology education background, patience is a must.
