November 28th-30th Grove Elementary will hold a vision and hearing screening for our students. We are looking for volunteers who can help escort students to and from classrooms and where the screenings are taking place. Volunteers can also help with leading students through the screening process, and other duties relating to the vision and hearing screening. The screenings will begin at 9am, and last until 3pm -with an hour break for lunch. Volunteers can work 9:00-3:00, or can do a half day (morning or afternoon). These screenings are important because they can help students by removing barries that might be limiting their academic potential.

Description
We have several opportunties for volunteers to become a mentor to students and to help students to complete assignments. Teachers also need assistance grading papers and putting together projects. Our office staff can keep a volunteer busy with day to day tasks throughout the school and our librarian would love help shelving books and assisting students when looking for their "just right book".
