Join the State Museum Volunteer Corps and help out with WinterFest. Many opportunities available for folks who like kids and want to help kids create take-home craft projects. Easy and fun. All materials and training provided.

Looking for something fun to do on your winter break? The State Museum has two weeks of activities especially for you.

A new orientation will happen Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 8:45am - noon. Learn about all volunteer opportunities, learn about museum policy and procedures, volunteer benefits. Plus have a short tour of the museum and watch one of our fabulous 4-D features. Wear comfortable shoes as we will be on our feet for part of the time.

Meet Ms. Kathy Hart in the main lobby. Park in front. Parking and training and all training materials are free! Light refreshments will be available.
