Many students at Nelson Elementary are struggling readers. Give an hour per week to help combat this by listening to a child read out loud to you and discuss what they read. Build their confidence and help them succeed!
Reading Buddies is a program that takes place at Nelson Elementary school during the school day. If you have a free hour during school hours and enjoy working with children, this opportunity is for you!

Community enCompass is a Christian Community Development Organization for the core city neighborhoods of Muskegon. Our mission is to empower neighbors and build community in the core city neighborhoods by sharing God's love, as we walk alongside neighbors, seeking justice and a better quality of life for all through long-term, sustainable changes.
