ECHO Homeless Shelter is currently looking for volunteers to help with the nightly Dinner Registration from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.
The Registration volunteer welcomes clients coming in for our meal program and signs them in on our registration sheet. This is a great opportunity to meet our clients first hand and experience the ECHO mission. The position is best for people who enjoy working with others in a supportive role. Training for this position will be provided during the volunteers first shift.
ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the homeless men, women, and children in SLO County 365 nights a year. Please consider helping ECHO out as we continue to provide services to those in our country who need it the most!

ECHO will provide support services that address the root causes of homelessness and will help the homeless find a level of self-sufficiency that is appropriate to each individual.
Description
The El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) provides meals, shelter, and supportive services to the homeless and hungry of northern San Luis Obispo County. Operating 365 days a year, ECHO is volunteer based organization that is supported by a coalition of churches, service organizations, and individuals. Our family atmosphere and selfless dedication of volunteers has been a refuge for many in their times of need.
