New Years Resolution: Volunteer at the Book Donation Center!

FRIENDS of the San Francisco Public Library is looking for some dedicated Donation Center volunteers!

Shifts are available once a week for about 2-3 hours each week. Our highest need days right now are Monday, Tuesday's and Wednesday.

Duties would include sorting donated books into 70 different categories, packing up books, shelving books, and occasionally helping as a greeter at the front.

This is an ongoing responsibility with a 6-month commitment strongly preferred. Volunteers must be 18 years or over.

Friends of the San Francisco Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides critical support for the San Francisco Public Library and related literary and educational programs. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the Library as well as literary and education communities by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for San Francisco.
