East Bay Children's Theatre takes it's 1-hour musical production to schools in Oakland and Richmond on Tuesdays and Thursdays between February 21st and April 1st, 2017. In addition to morning school performances, we also perform on 4 weekend days (the last three Sundays in March, and the first Saturday in April). These are performances at public venues in Berkeley, Orinda, Pittsburg and Pleasanton. Time commitments for public performances are later in the day (noon - 5pm).
We are looking for volunteers to run our lights during performances. This includes learning how to set up, operate and take down our lighting system. Orientation and training provided. Volunteers would need to arrange for their own transportation to and from all venues.
No specific stage crew experience is required. We are looking for individuals who are available during the day and are interested in making a positive difference in the lives of underserved school children.
