This October Lifelong welcomes back our delectable fundraiser Easy as Pie. This delicious event inspires our generous community to work together to make the holidays happier (and sweeter!) for our clients.
Starting today you can purchase a pie (homemade with love by the Chicken Soup Brigade kitchen, of course) to be picked up the week of Thanksgiving!
We have two varieties:
- Traditional Pumpkin Pie
- Butter Tart Pie (gluten free!)
This week our dedicated volunteers will also begin selling pies to family, friends, and everyone they know! You can become a volunteer pie seller too - sign up here, and you'll be able to create a fundraising page, set a goal and help us raise money for essential services for our clients. Did I mention you can win prizes?! We have everything fromEasy as Pie gear, to tickets to Gay Bingo and private cooking lessons for our best pie sellers.
Each pie costs $25, which provides four nutritious, home-delivered meals to a Chicken Soup Brigade client. Many of these clients are homebound and living with a serious and debilitating health condition like HIV, cancer, diabetes, or kidney disease. We also give an actual pie to a client for every pie that is sold.

Our community support network fills the gaps in broken systems and ensures that everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive.
