Can you give love to a hospice patient? In their final hours, a hospice patient can be scared, lonely or peaceful and calm. If you have love in your heart to be with these patients in their final hours, please contact Grace Hospice.
We provide all of the training and screenings necessary for you to become a hospice volunteer. Then once you are qualified, we will contact you as a patient needs your support and comfort. You visit the patient and their family, offering music, a calming presence and perhaps some some uplifting words.
Contact our office today at (574) 208-9280 and speak with our volunteer coordinator. She will guide you through the process of becoming a hospice volunteer, and will support you as you bless others with your presence.

Mission Statement
Our mission is for each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.
Description
HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana is the first HarmonyCares Hospice in the state and has Nurses, CNA's/Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains and Volunteers that assist the patients and support their families wherever the patient considers their "home" to be.
The hospice philosophy focuses on comfort care not curative care. The goal of hospice care is for the patient to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Hospice care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
Hospice is a philosophy of caring for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose not to seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. It is a program for patients who are considered terminal and are expected to live six months or less if the disease follows its natural course, although many patients outlive this time frame.
We strive to improve the quality of life for all we serve including our patient's families, their neighbors, and the community they live in. We strive to make an impact with everyone we meet and improve the community as a whole.
Come make a difference with the first HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana. This is an opportunity that will change your life.
