Urgent Call for Volunteers!

We Can’t Do It Without you!

October 31 - November 18

You pick the date and time.

EAA Chapters are an essential part of EAA. We would like to take the time to recognize each of our 3,800 Chapter Leaders in the field for their dedicated service within their chapter and to recognize their assistance to foster the growth of recreational aviation through chapter activities.

We are looking for your help to compile the awards over the next couple of weeks. This project involves putting together a packet of items for each one of the 900+ chapters and their leaders. Responsibilities would include assembling, packaging and shipping the Chapter Service Awards. We have opportunities will any skill level.

Other responsibilities:

  • Stuffing envelopes

  • Packaging

  • Putting labels on items

  • Computer work

  • Printing

  • Bindery

**Training is provided for all projects

We have an urgent need for volunteers starting on October 31 through November 18. We are very flexible around your schedule to when you would like to volunteer. The Print Mail department operates Monday through Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm. We ask that it is a minimum of 2 hours per volunteer time based on the training and set up. However, there is no maximum amount of hours. What works best for you?

Volunteering in Print Mail is:

  • A fun environment that is very friendly, social and safe

  • Volunteer opportunities can be standing and sitting - we can work with you to accommodate your needs

  • An excellent opportunity to learn new and very marketable job skills

  • A great place to complete vocational volunteer requirement

If you have interest, please email Ann Rahn; Sr. Print Mail Coordinator at arahn@eaa.org or Michelle Farr at mfarr@eaa.org .

Thank you for your continued support!

Description

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds.

Founded in 1953 by a group of individuals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who were interested in building their own airplanes, EAA expanded its mission of growing participation in aviation to include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters, and contemporary manufactured aircraft.

EAA is the only association that offers the fun and camaraderie of participating in the flying, building, and restoring of recreational aircraft with the most passionate community of aviation enthusiasts.

Ever since EAA’s creation, volunteers have been our heart and soul. Volunteers from all over the world have helped make EAA a recognized leader in the aviation community.

Join us and be a part of this tradition of excellence, while helping us continue to provide high quality programs and services to our members and visitors.
