Digital Musician Needed for 2-Minute Song Creation Based off Existing Music (details below)

Who are we?

One Community is a 100%-volunteer 501c3 non-profit sustainability think-tank and implementation organization. We create open source and free-shared sustainability tools, tutorials, and resources.

Who we seek:

We are seeking someone to help 5 to 10 hours a week collaborating with our Executive Director to create the audio we'll be using to remake the intro video found on our homepage: www.onecommunityglobal.org We've done hours of team collaboration on this already and the specifics of what we desire are described at the bottom of this post.

Who are you:

You're a fantastic team leader, a visionary, and a seasoned digital music creator and audio editor with expertise overseeing multi-track audio projects from ideation to completion. You're a big-picture thinker and also have strong attention to detail. You have excellent organizational and time managment skills. Maybe you're retired, or working on an advanced degree. Maybe you're a go-getter who likes to have his/her hands in various outside projects or spend your weekends giving in a meaningful way.

The general feel and look we are seeking would be to start with a slow and emotional intro like the first one: https://vimeo.com/120731798

With the script being an emotional "better is possible" first 30 seconds of "emotional hook." Then an adapted version of the script (from the first 27 seconds) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvxQ0ylmetc

Total time for this part would be 1 minute.

Then we want to transition to something like the second video: https://vimeo.com/125195029

For about the first 15-30 seconds of this part, we would eliminate the script and just go with audio and images, showing what we’ve created in the same format you see there (at about the 16 second mark) while flashing "Food" "Housing" "Education" "Recreation" "Economics" and "Earth Stewardship" on the screen along with rapid-fire images timed to the music and then finishing with another 20-30 seconds of a "It’s happening, get involved" type of call-to-action script that leaves people inspired and excited.

The issue we've run into though is that we can't find music that fits what we want to do visually... so now we're hoping to find someone that can essentially recreate the music there (or something very similar in feel and rhythm) while changing it enough that we won't have any copyright issues.
