Founded in 2000, The Arts of Life is a local non-profit organization that supports adult artists with intellectual disabilities. Offering alternatives to traditional work programs for people with disabilities, The Arts of Life employs over 60 artists at its professional arts studios in Chicago and Glenview. Here, the artists focus on a variety of art forms including visual art, performance, installation, and music.

The Arts of Life Associate Board is made up of a group young Chicago area professionals who lead fundraising events and actively volunteer for The Arts of Life. Members are committed to the organization’s mission of bringing people with and without disabilities together to create an artistic culture.
