Goal of Role

To assist staff in maximizing the member and youth experience in the climbing wall

Tasks and Activities

· Provide a fun, welcoming climbing environment

· Help staff ensure the safety of climbers

· Assist staff in enforcing rules and safety measures

· Role model the Y Values

☒ At specified times: Rock Wall open MWF 4-7pm, Sat. 12-3pm

Qualifications and skills desired

· Welcoming, caring attitude

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach

· Comfortability initiating conversations with members of all ages

· Safety-conscious individual

Training and other requirements

· Must pass a background and reference check, and attend volunteer orientation prior to start date.

· Must complete YMCA Belay Certification Course
