Turning the Page is looking for volunteers to assist with our student workshops at TTP's Community Nights, which are events that aim to support family engagement with parent workshops, student literacy workshops, book giveaways, and a healthy family dinner.
Volunteers will be supporting our Workshop Leaders in our student workshops by assisting in reading books, facilitating fun activities, and supervising children. Volunteers may also help serve dinner to or check-in our families at the beginning of the night. This opportunity is open to both individual volunteers and groups of up to 10!
No experience is necessary, and on-site training will be provided. Community Nights are held on weeknight evenings at one of our partner schools in North Lawndale. To see dates and sign up, visit tinyurl.com/FallTTPSignup. Contact Emily at elien@turningthepage.org or 773-362-8598 with questions.
