Volunteers needed to provide childcare while parents take some time to themselves. Parents of children with special needs ages 8 and under will be able to drop their children off at Easter Seals for 3 hours while they take a break! Volunteers and staff will participate in fun activities with the children and create a safe, inclusive environment.
We're looking for volunteers to commit to volunteering a minimum of 6 times within a 6 month period to help provide consistency for the families.
Requirements
- Participate in a finger-print based background check. This procedure adds an additional layer of protection for the amazing families we serve.
- Get a TB skin test and email me the negative results. This step is extra protection for the medically fragile children you may be interacting with during our events.
- Attend a mandatory 1-hour training prior to your first volunteer experience.
