Looking to invest your time and talents in a way that makes a lasting impact? By investing your expertise in planning and evaluation to Circle of Peace International (COPI), you can ensure that orphans and low-income students in Africa get the key to a better life: a quality education.
The Director of Planning and Evaluation is a member of the Board of Directors with special responsibility to oversee planning and evaluation throughout all aspects of the organization.Responsibilities include leading the board in developing a strategic plan and implementing it, leading the board in annual self-evaluations, and continuously evaluating programs and processes. We seek a person with the ability to think strategically and help others to do so; also, a person skilled in developing and administering organizational and program evaluations.
Because the organization has no staff, the Director of Planning and Evaluation must be a person who can work without supervision, carry out responsibilities in a timely manner, and interact well with others. An appreciation for the mission, vision and values of Circle of Peace International and Circle of Peace School is a must. Familiarity with the nonprofit sector would be a plus. We seek a person residing in the Richmond, VA area. A one-year commitment is required.
If you fit this bill, we would love to hear from you. Just think, if all children in low-income countries could acquire basic reading skills, 171 million people could be lifted out of poverty. What better way to invest your time and talents!
