RSVP Chicago is looking for adults age 55+ to volunteer for a few hours at Casa Central. Since 1954, Casa Central has delivered evidenced based, award winning programming in response to the needs of the community.
Volunteer Companion- Adult Wellness Center
Responsibilities include:
* Assist with responding to resident’s dining needs and spending time to talk to them
Qualifications/skills:
* Patience, good multi-tasking and comfort working with adults over age 55.
Skill Building For Adults Age 55+
Responsibilities include:
* Assist individuals with resources and skills to gain employment/better employment
Qualifications/skills:
* Patience, willing to work with mainly Spanish speaking clients, bilingual skills a plus

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
