RSVP Chicago is looking for adults age 55+ to volunteer with us at Friedman Place, a non-profit supportive living community for blind and visually impaired adults in Chicago.
Volunteer Your Time While Breaking Bread
Responsibilities include:
* Assist with responding to resident’s dining needs and spending time to talk to them
Qualifications/skills:
* Patience, good multi-tasking and comfort working with disabled people of all ages.

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
