We have four different ReStore locations that can accomodate community service or service learning hours. We are are open Monday - Saturday from 9 to 6 pm and require a minimum of 4 hours per week.
Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City can accommodate some court-ordered community restitution requirements. However, we cannot accept volunteers who have committed violent crimes, crimes against minors, sexual offenses, theft or robbery. In all other respects, court-ordered community service volunteers will be treated and held accountable to the same standards as all other volunteers.

Our primary goal is to build affordable, energy efficient houses on inner-city sites for sale at "no profit/no interest" to selected low-income families who could not otherwise acquire decent shelter. A second objective is the reclamation of blighted urban residential areas from a condition of decay to one of new vitality.
