Are you looking to get more involved with youth and children? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of teens struggling with issues. Would you like to be involved with helping teens work toward a better future.. If you said yes, Heaven And Life Foundation needs you! Heaven And Life is a nonprofit organization that provide at risk youth an escape from the normal routine and give them positive activities, events, and educational field trips to prevent kids and teens from getting into trouble. We are offering you the opportunity to become a volunteer board member for our program. We are looking for Volunteers who are problem solvers, passionate, creative, and have a strong need to give back to the youth in our community. We invite you to bring your ideas, talents and skills, to the teens and children in our program. Mission Statement
Heaven And Life Foundation is a non - profit organization that keeps children and teens living in the urban community away from crime and off the streets by providing them with positive activities after school and during the summer. We provide children and teens with a safe place to learn, play and grow.
Description
Our mission consist of three very important objectives. First we focus on giving the children something to do in their spare time in a safe and educational environment. We inspire them with Art, Music, Dance, Sports and Education. Second we focus on teaching young adults how to avoid trouble, how to deal with everyday situations, how to stay positive in a negative environment and how to become successful working adults. Third if children or young adults make the error of getting in trouble we offer them resources and tools to counsel them and work intensively with them in every aspect to prevent them from making the same error over and over again.
