Interesting, fun conversations are part of ELL (ESL) class every week.

Would you like to join the conversation, make sure everyone has a chance to talk, ask questions, and steer the conversation as needed? Topics are provided. You would help with other listening & speaking learning activities as well. A licensed teacher plans the class, and is present.

Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30 am at 2225 East Lake St, 55407
Thurdays, 11:30-12:30, at 1250 W Broadway, 55411

Training is provided.

Mission Statement

Help adults acquire the skills, and provide the support, to pursue education and employment goals.

Description

Minneapolis Adult Education provides free classes in ESL, reading, writing, math, basic computer skills, and transition to work and college. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We are part of Minneapolis Community Education, Minneapolis Public Schools.

Volunteers participate once an week, for an hour or more depending on the class. We ask for a commitment of 3 months. Service learning has a different minimum.
