ORGANIZATION: Eastside Legal Assistance Program

  • 9 people are interested

Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) is looking for people who have computer skills/data entry skills and like working with detail. We are a non-profit organization providing free civil legal aid to the low-income community of East King County and to domestic violence survivors throughout King County. What we do is so important and so necessary because these people would fall through the cracks of our justice system if it wasn’t for programs like ours. The database we use to maintain relationships with our supporters is in need of some clean up. This job requires a high level of confidentiality, and attention to detail. If you consider yourself to be a trustworthy person who can focus on a job for 3-4 hours, and likes working with a fantastic team of people like yourself who care about their communities, then we want you.

We have a short-term data entry project that requires the following skills:

  • Detailed oriented
  • Write legibly
  • Can stay focused on the task at hand.
  • Can commit 2 days a week for about 2-3 months or as long as it takes to finish the task
  • Friendly with good sense of humor.

Training will be provided.

Hours: Monday or Tuesday 9:00 - 12 and/or 1:00 - 5:00

Application Process:

To apply please submit a completed ELAP General Volunteer Application Form available on the ELAP website www.elap.org. Please be sure to indicate your schedule availability, length of commitment and what interests you in this position. We will contact you shortly to discuss your interest in this position. If you have any questions, please contact Aries Almanza, ELAP Program- Intake Assistant at aries@elap.org or at 425-747-7274 Ext 207. Thank you for your commitment to equal access to justice.
