November 15th, 17th, and 19th are dates for registration for those who will be utlimately benefitting from our efforts this holiday season. We need volunteers primarily on these dates, however attending a day or two early would be beneficial toward getting the down-low on how to perform the event.
Volunteers will be expected to:
Man registration tables and perform interview processes with up to 50 applicants per day
Understand the application process and how to review documentation for eligibility
During slow times, get to know other volunteers, have a snack break (provided by local businesses) and see how we perform our categorization and packaging for the children we give to every year.
We have a major need for bi-lingual volunteers, as we receive MANY applicants who know very little English.

Mission Statement
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Founded by Marines in 1948, the Marine Corps has participates in the nationwide Toys for Tots program in an effort for to give back to the community which has provided us with so much support since our inception.
Description
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.
