This is an amazing opportunity for volunteers from around Richmond, Virginia to get together and make a difference this holiday season. These opportunities fall into four (4) categories.
1. Counting toys. At our facility in Richmond all toys are counted before being placed into PODS storage containers. Here they are separated by age group and gender. They are also safe guarded against theft until they are distributed.
2. Sorting toys. Toys are sorted into bins by age group and gender and passed off to the counting team.
3. Filling orders. Toys are collected from the Sorted PODS and place into bags to fill orders from none profit organizations.
4. Phone support. Answering phone calls and taking messages for the Toys for Tots program.
