Love children? JF&CS is looking for volunteers to provide babysitting / childcare for the children of parents while they participate in a Parents Group Program. The babysitting will take place onsite at JF&CS in Waltham in the Parent/Baby room which is full of toys and books appropriate for this age range. Parents remain on-site during their workshop. We have two Group Programs that will be running weekly:
Tuesdays
10:00 am-12:30 pm
OR
2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Each of the programs run for 2 hours; there is a half hour on either side of the program for set up and clean up though it probably won't take that long; You may be able to come a little later or end a little earlier. Of course, we are looking for your help at one or the other of these times.. not both!!

Description
For almost 150 years, Jewish Family & Children's Service has been the safety net for over 30,000 individuals and families in 80 Greater Boston communities. Since its inception, the focus of JF&CS has been to support our friends and neighbors through difficult life transitions and times of personal crisis, offering programs and services for every stage of life.
JF&CS is especially responsive to the needs of vulnerable members of our community: newborns and their parents, individuals with development disabilities or persistent mental illness, families at risk and the frail elderly. What makes our continuum of programs unique is our steadfast dedication to caring not only for the physical and economic health of individuals and families, but also for their emotional and spiritual well-being.
JF&CS is always ready to respond, no matter how difficult the problem and regardless of a person's background or ability to pay.
