As ADA focuses on expanding its programs and services, we are in a need of a savy Programs Manager who can help put the pieces together between gaps in service, and our available resources. Our Primary Program, Tranquil Adventures, provides a concrete, working example of how accessible outdoor recreation can be seamlessly blended into local community recreational offerings. How innovation can be succesfully utilized to make water-related recreational activities available. But it is limited to a single niche.
It is time to grow and expand. ADA's goals have always been broad, but until now, we haven't been able to realize the full potential of our mission. Now is that time.
We are looking for a skilled volunteer who can find the gaps in exisiting organizations, and help create and implement programs that are in line with our mission.

Active Disabled Americans, Inc., exists to provide a concrete, working example of how accessible outdoor recreation opportunities for the disabled can be seamlessly blended into local community recreational offerings; serve as an educational/referral network on matters related to accessible recreation for individuals with disabilities, their families & friends, and the general public; assist developing/developed recreation facilities with Americans with Disabilities Act compliant issues, and advocate for accessible outdoor recreation for indiviudals with disabilities.
