Interim HealthCare San Diego Hospice

  • 1 person is interested

When you are ill the world shrinks and it becomes difficult to leave the house for things that used to be routine outings, like a haircut or style. Many of our patients want these services as they add to their quality of life and dignity.

To help meet the needs of our patients, Interim HealthCare San Diego Hospice is recruiting LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS AND BARBERS to join our dedicated volunteer team. These volunteers would provide haircuts, trims, and styling in our patients home.

Wee provide services to our patients wherever they call home, whether it be a private residence or a skilled nursing facility, throughout all of San Diego County. Our mission is to give patient and family empowered care, preserving dignity and providing comfort.

Volunteers go through a comprehensive 16 hour training, background check, drug screening and 2 step TB test provided by our agency at no cost.
