A committed individual (age 16-over) is needed to serve as the Assistant to the Pastor of the Kingdom City Fellowship, a brand new non-denominational ministry operating in downtown, Rahway.

Kingdom City is a very unique fellowship for many reasons.... We believe in teaching the Word of God in a way that you can understand and apply to your life; we believe in community and take opportunities to minister to those who are lost and forgotten; we believe in family - we go to movies together; we have dinners together; we shop together; and we play together; we believe in unity - we laugh together, crack jokes often, we think together, we cry together and most importantly, we labor together. We're not the typical church and we're good with that.

An Assistant is needed to help keep our Pastor organized and he/she will also play an integral part in the growth and development of the ministry. The Assistant will primarily be needed on Sundays from 11am to 2pm and will otherwise communicate with the Pastor by phone/email.

The Assistant should be someone who is organized, creative, outgoing and funny. Someone who is as comfortable chilling on the floor as he/she is sitting in a pew. The Assistant should also be able to travel to Downtown Rahway (directly across the street from the Rahway train station) each Sunday. The Assistant should ideally be on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest) but this is not a requirement.

While the position starts off as a volunteer - it will become salaried as the ministry continues to grow. Other perks may be possible (paid lunch, reimbursed transportation) once the Assistant has proven to be reliable and faithful.

Interested candidates should email us at kingdomcityfellowship@gmail.com with a resume and cover letter.
