This holiday season, sponsor a Thanksgiving meal for young adults in our Transitional Housing Program! Get a group of co-workers together, make a Thanksgiving meal at home or at your place of work and then help deliver it to one of our YMCA Homes during the week before or week of Thanksgiving.

Through the Accelerator YMCA, we have supportive short-term housing and services for young adults transitioning from foster care or homelessness. This program includes seven houses located in neighborhoods throughout King County, near colleges: Central, West Seattle, Auburn, Shoreline, Bellevue, McGrath (Northgate), Harder House (Greenlake).

In total, we have 7 Houses and we would love to recruit 7 volunteer groups (of 5 to 10 people each).. one to sponsor each home. For each home, we are asking for 10 prepared meals.

Make a difference this season and spread some holiday cheer. Provide a special meal for some of King County's youth!
