ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels San Francisco

Social Work Volunteer / Office Assistant

Volunteer Needs: Interested in helping social workers who are committed to the seniors in our community? We are seeking a volunteer to help in our offices. The tasks include filing; helping to sort confidential files and filling in where the social workers need help. Our social workers support over 2500 seniors with important home visits.
Details of the positon are :
copying
compiling handbooks
updating files (both by hand and electronically)
assisting with other projects as needed
Working as a social worker volunteer gives you the chance to provide valuable support for the services we provide to our SF community of seniors and adults with disabilities.

SCHEDULE :

Hours and days are flexible within the agency work hours, Monday - Friday,

It is our mission to provide isolated homebound older adults in San Francisco with nutritious meals, daily human contact, and supportive services to prevent their premature institutionalization.
