Fundraising / School Visioning Team
ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are looking for SIX talented adult men and women to become part of the Fundraising / School Visioning ("FSV") Team for The 1City Academy, a proposed Christian School that will serve students in grades 5 to 12. The FSV Team will be a big part of making that happen.
The group will meet for the first time in early November and then once every quarter (December, March, June, September). Additional communications (if needed) can happen via email and/or conference call.
The Team will be tasked for helping us develop a budget and a fundraising strategy to get all of the things that we will need for the school. The team will assist our Board and other friends with the actual fundraising as well.
Members of FSV need not be members of our church or any other one. They just need to be very creative and outgoing! Members will rotate attending the quarterly Board meetings in New York City (Near NY Penn Station) to give a report on the Team's work. Members can also elect one person who will attend all of the meetings.
Interested candidates should email kingdomcityfellowship@gmail.com with a resume and cover letter which outlines what the candidate can bring to the FSV. We are looking for our first meeting to happen on Saturday, November 5th at 4pm in downtown Rahway (directly across the street from the train station). The FSV will determine the rest of its meeting dates at this meeting.
