DELTA GAMMA- Service Planning Council
ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are inviting SIX ladies and gentlemen ages of 18-over to join Delta Gamma - the New Jersey Chapter of Nu Sigma Theta. This chapter does NOT require church membership.
Nu Sigma Theta was formed to do random acts of kindness and formal acts of community service and involves men, women and teens from all over the world. The Home Chapter is in New Jersey and we are seeking a committed group of people to become part of that chapter.
Here are some things that our Delta Gamma members can expect to do -
- Create and supervise community service projects in New York and New Jersey.
- Create and lead activities for our members for the purpose of social and professional networking
- Plan for our annual events (conference, trips, brunch, fundraisers)
- Work collaboratively with Kappa Phi - our Christian Chapter - which is also located in NJ.
The group's first meeting can occur on either a Friday evening or on a Saturday (at a time that works for the majority of the interested candidates). The group will set its calendar for future meetings at that time and can change the day/time for meetings as needed. The meetings are conducted in Downtown Rahway (across the street from the Rahway train station) - so you should either live in Rahway or be reasonably close so that you can attend.
Additionally, because this is a working chapter - these six members will not be subject to any dues.
