Community Resources' Academic Mentors Project is searching for an IT professionals or university student to mentor a 5th grade student interested in creating a simple video game design. Participation requires a 6 hr time commitment, plus an initial set up meeting with the student and parent. Ideally the mentor would be willing to meet with the student at a DPS school on the west side of the city or at a central location in Denver. Volunteering as an Academic Mentor is an easy way to make a significant impact on the life of a young person!
