Music Worcester seeks ushers for our matinee performance of Igudesman & Joo at Mechanics Hall. Ushers arrive an hour and a half before the house opens. Our volunteer expectations are as follows:
- Be a present and attentive usher at assigned performances
- Before and during concerts, serve MW patrons first (watch the audience during performances)
- Familiarize self with the safety plans of each venue prior to performance
- Arrive at concert venue 1.5-1 hour before performance (timing depends on concert venue & program needs)
- Attend trainings as schedule allows--we just had a training in October but we can give you a brief overview to catch you up
- Dress professionally to distinguish self from patrons
- Be a steward of Music Worcester’s community work and upcoming shows. Familiarize yourself with our upcoming events and educational activities
