The goal of the 21-Day Uganda Volunteer Expedition is to educate participants in the reality of Ugandan lives, and to provide services to the orphanage, schools, and clinics where we’re established.
Volunteers will visit and work with several orphanages, schools and clinics.
We are looking for volunteers who: 1) want to teach computer skills, music, dance, health, nutrition, and environmental science, 2) want to bring over tools and appliances and instruct Ugandans on how to use and make them, 3) want to provide medical care.
Hands-on participation in community tasks is provided, plus specialized learning in Ugandan economic development, environmental studies, gender equity, health, and culture. Field trips to national parks are also on the agenda.
