The goal of the Uganda Humanist Volunteers is to provide services to the orphanage, schools, and clinics we have established, and to educate participants in the realities of Ugandan daily life
We are looking for volunteers who: 1) want to teach computer skills, music, dance, health, nutrition, and environmental science, 2) want to bring over tools and appliances and instruct Ugandans on how to use and make them, 3) want to provide medical care.
Hands-on participation in community tasks is provided, plus specialized learning in Ugandan economic development, environmental studies, gender equity, health, and culture. Field trips to national parks are also on the agenda.
