Want to experience the fun of a marathon without running 26.2 miles?

Help the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) at the 2016 Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 30. Volunteers will assist OAR staff in Charity Hill next to the Iwo Jima Memorial and cooperatively manage the following tasks: direct RUN FOR AUTISM team members from the finish line back to the OAR tent in Charity Village, check in returning runners and award OAR medals, take photos of runners and their families, prepare and replenish food and beverages, remove trash and maintain a clean space, and other tasks as necessary. Volunteers are needed for 3-hour shifts from 9 AM-4 PM and will receive a free RUN FOR AUTISM t-shirt. Community service letters can be provided for school credit.

Available shifts are:

9 AM - 12 PM
11 AM - 2 PM
1 - 4 PM
