This year, food drives will look different because of the Covid-19 pandemic. To minimize the risk of holding an event in person, we encourage you, your family, or your organization to host a virtual food drive! How it works: EFN will create a personalized email with a donation link that you can forward to members of your group. You will be able to keep track of the donations that come through your link, and we will keep you updated on how your collection is going. The money collected will be used to help EFN distribute food to our pantry programs. Your donations will allow EFN to purchase food in bulk, solicit food donations, and distribute food to pantries. For every $1 donated, EFN can distribute 5 meals. Setting up your virtual Food Drive couldn't be easier! All we need from you is: 1. A contact name and email (phone number optional) 2. A title for your food drive 3. A start and end date 4. A logo or photo to include in the email (optional)

The mission of Emergency Food Network is "to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry."
Currently 1 in 7 people in Pierce County faces food insecurity, and the need is always growing. Through our 76 partner programs and our eight acre Organic farm in Puyallup, EFN distributed nearly 20 million dollars worth of food 2018 alone. 14,500 hours of time given by our volunteers made this work possible. Volunteer opportunities include the Repack Project, Break Bags, weeding at EFN's Mother Earth Farm, and more. We hope you will join us!
