Your superpowers are needed to help rescue food & deliver it to the homeless!
A back up volunteer with a vehicle (ideally a truck, minivan, crossover, SUV or station wagon) is needed to pick up food donations in South Park 1-2 times a month for our Hot Meal Program. The food is delivered to a Phinney Ridge church and used to feed more than 75 homeless and others in need each day. This volunteer will alternate with another volunteer to provide weekly pick up service.

Description
Our programs include a hot meal program, a senior center, pre-school co-ops, before- and after-school programs for kids, an art gallery, and a DIY Hub including a tool rental library and Community Woodshop. We host community events throughout the year, including a Winter Festival, two beer tastes, a wine taste, Day of the Dead and Holi celebrations, book exchange events, Bingo/Karaoke parties, small community potlucks, a crochet group, concerts for families, and more.
