On March 3th, 2017, the Nebraska-Southwest Iowa Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association will hold its 19 th annual Gala and auction at The Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. This year’s theme will be "That 70’s Show: Peace, Love, and a Cure" and will highlight the faces of those affected by neuromuscular disease. The chairpersons for this annual event are Mark and Jackie Dix of Council Bluffs. They are tremendous advocates and fundraisers for MDA. Their connection with MDA began in 1996, when their son Zach was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Come and volunteer with us on an unforgettable night! We will need volunteers in multiple different areas assisting with our gala, the largest amout needed for our Silent Auction. Details for volunteer placement will come closer to the date of the Gala.
