Candy drive for our event on 10/20/18 at Infinite Energy Center

I work for Easter Seals North Georgia. We provide services to children that are in poverty or have a special need from birth to age 5. We need individuals and groups to do a candy drive for our event. We need bags of candy for our Trick or Treat Trot 5k run/walk for Easter Seals North Georgia. We will have over 1,000 attending our event.

Many of our families are in poverty and the areas in which they live are too dangerous for children to Trick or Treat in so we decided to put together an event that would provide a safe and fun way to get dressed in costume and collect candy.

We welcome all families to attend at no cost but since we are a nonprofit, we need assistance in providing candy and small prizes to the children at the craft tables and along the 5k route.

You can start collecting candy NOW! Ask your employees to bring in a bag each and it will really add up in no time. Call Norma at 404-569-0157 and let her know that you will be conducting a candy drive. We want to have all candy delivered or picked up by 10/13/17 so we know how much more we will need by the event. We are hoping to fill 3 new - 100 gallon cans with bags of candy to give away at the event!

All candy will go to the children that attend the festival and if any candy if left over, we will provide to our Child Development Centers to distribute to the families that could not attend the event.
