Looking for hands on experience in the local voting process? Or a quick resume booster? Fairfax County's Office of Elections needs 14-20 (unpaid) volunteers to help collect the unofficial tallies from the various precincts on election night, Tuesday, November 8th from 6:30 pm- 11:00 pm at the Government Center (12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax).
You will be collecting the data via telephone, so good verbal communication skills are a must. Light refreshments will be provided, but you should come prepared with snacks or additional beverages to be available to sit for the entire shift.

Description
The Office of Elections and the Electoral Board serves the residents of Fairfax County by planning, organizing, staffing and conducting local, state-wide and federal elections through out the year as well managing voter registration. The Office oversees the maintenance and deployment of voter equipment, precinct and satellite location logistics and ballot returns and reporting.
