ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association - DC/MD/VA Chapter

This year is our Chapter's 25th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than by joining us for our largest fundraising event of the year... our DC Walk to Defeat ALS event. This event will be taking place on the Washington Monument Grounds and will attract over 2,000 individuals to walk and raise funds to fight against ALS and help provide free care services andprograms to nearly 700 individuals living with ALS in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

We are looking for an individual to kickoff our opening ceremony by singing the National Anthem in front of nearly 2,000 individuals and families. Join us on Saturday, October 29th from 9:00am to 10:00am to help add a greater excitement and energy to the day of our event. Please contact Brittany Garcia, Senior Event Manager, at bgarcia@ALSinfo.org or (240) 428-9604 for further information.
