This year is our Chapter's 25th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than by joining us for our largest fundraising event of the year... our DC Walk to Defeat ALS event. This event will be taking place on the Washington Monument Grounds and will attract over 1,700 individuals to walk and raise funds to fight against ALS and help provide free care services andprograms to nearly 700 individuals living with ALS in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

We are looking for a drumline team and a color guard team to join us on Saturday, October 29th from 9:00am to 10:30am to help add a greater excitement and energy to the day of our event. Please contact Brittany Garcia, Senior Event Manager, at bgarcia@ALSinfo.org or (240) 428-9604.

The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. Our mission is to help people living with ALS and to leave no stone unturned in search for a cure. On a daily basis, staff and volunteers are working diligently to develop programs to make sure that our ALS family can count on the caring, compassionate support of people who understand the daily challenges of living with the daily challenges of living with this disease.
